Another gorgeous day on the water! Went out to the Atlantic and up the Jersey coast to Atlantic City (35 nm). First time we've seen Atlantic City from the water (or from anywhere for that matter!). Sort of a small Ft Lauderdale...
We anchored in cove off the inlet...a place highly recommended by Heidi and Peter (Spartina). Great view of the hotels and casinos, especially at night.

As we entered Absecon Inlet to A.C. eight very large dolphins rode our bow wave in for at least five minutes. Nice welcome!
We again got the kayaks down for to get some exercise and see the area. Tonight the almost full moon rose and the sun set six minutes apart.

Well that was amazing....I made the previous blog comment just a few minutes before getting an email from Pam. After a phone call to Pam, we determined they had just anchored in Croton on Hudson. It was a date! -- for cocktails and (almost) sunset on the Compass Rose on the Hudson.b Thanks guys it was just great to see you! Hope we can take you out for dinner on your return trip.
